Relationship to Licensee: John Norton is the father of Connie Parson (Randy Parson, CFO/Treasurer, Bickes, Inc. - Decatur).  He passed away at the age of 80 at his residence in Dalton, Georgia.  He is survived by his wife, Betty Barr Norton, daughters and sons-in-laws, sisters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Jack H. Mikkelsen

Relationship to Licensee: Jack Mikkelsen, age 88, former owner and president of Zeiser Wilbert Vault, Inc. passed away April 17, 2012.

After serving in the Navy during World War II, Mr. Mikkelsen went to work for Zeiser Wilbert Vault in 1946.  He eventually purchased the business and operated it until 1994 when he sold it to Chuck and Sandy Kottwitz.  Mr. Mikkelsen is survived by his wife Joyce Collins Mikkelsen, daughter Kathleen and son Chris.

Mass of Christian Burial was held at Our Lady of Lourdes Church followed by burial at Maple Grove Cemetery, Horsehead, NY.

Pat started his career with the Knauer Wilbert Burial Vault Company over 33 years ago. He was a dedicated, honorable, hardworking and faithful employee who was the first to arrive and the last to leave work. He was a trustworthy friend, and became part of the Knauer family as he celebrated family get-togethers and holidays with them.  Patrick on his off-time loved to camp, fish and garden.

Survived by his best friend, Sue (Robert) Knauer of Shorewood; his surrogate parents, Connie and Arlene Knauer of Plainfield; also friends, Conrad (Sandra) Knauer of Elwood and Louis (Meri) Knauer of Elwood and all of their children, especially Corrie Knauer; numerous coworkers and special friends also survive.

Funeral Services For Patrick M. Shaughnessy will be Thursday, March 29, 2012 at 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home chapel with Fr. Richard Ross officiating. As it was Patrick's request, Cremation Rites will be accorded following funeral services. Private inurnment will take place at Woodlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum.
