MooseYellowstone National Park Tour
Get the most out of your time in our spectacular National Parks by taking a safari with one of Terra's exclusive naturalists. This tour focuses on the geology, wildlife, and natural history of Yellowstone National Park. We will travel north through Grand Teton National Park entering Yellowstone through the South Entrance. We then travel around the entire “lower loop” road visiting famous Yellowstone features like the Continental Divide, Old Faithful, Grand Prismatic, Fountain Paint Pots, the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone, Hayden Valley, Mud Volcano, Yellowstone Lake and much more. Wildlife will also be a priority. Registration deadline is September 8th. Seats are limited.

Half Day Option (Sunday, 9/24; 7:00am pickup)

  • This tour offers the opportunity to explore Yellowstone’s volcanic caldera and its thermal features with guaranteed views of an erupting Old Faithful! (Condensed full day Yellowstone Tour).
  • Duration of tour: 5-6 hours (could extend longer, dependent on traffic)
  • No age requirement ($230/child age 12 and under)
  • Included: Transportation. Breakfast and lunch, along with snacks and beverages. Spotting scopes, binoculars, and park passes will also be provided.

Scenic Float* 
Enjoy a 2- hour private scenic float down the beautiful Snake River in Grand Teton National Park. This float requires guests to meet at the “Scenic Float Trip” meeting location in GTNP (30 minute drive from Hotel Terra). The transfers are not included in this tour, but we can book transportation for the group. The float will run in front of the Teton Range and will pass beautiful historic ranches and eagle nests. The river runs through a pristine, natural landscape that features both a forested and open meadow environment. This special sanctuary is home to an abundance of wildlife, waterfowl and other bird life including the majestic bald eagle. This trip is the perfect length (approximately 2 hours actual floating time) to fully experience a river adventure, enjoy beautiful scenery and view wildlife, all within the heart of the park. Please note that this tour is BYOB.

Horseback Riding
Teton Village Trail Rides provides some of the best horseback riding in the Jackson Wyoming area! Rides are on the property of the historic Snake River Ranch in Jackson, Wyoming where beautiful scenery and wildlife abound. All rides are guided by real cowboys. Horses are handpicked from the Madsen family herd of over 1,000 horses. Stables are located in Teton Village (walking distance from the hotel). Minimum age is 5 years old.
Estimated price for rides are $50 for one hour and $60 for two hour. 
Duration of tour: 1.5 hours (must be at least 5 years old). Pony ride (with parental supervision) available for children under 5 years of age ($25).

Side-by-Side Razor Guided Tour
Bridger-Teton National Forest is known for its abundant wildlife and immense wild lands. Much of the Razor trails wind back into parts of 3.4 million acres of untouched public land. One of the most unique ways to tour the Valley is in a side-by-side Razor with a knowledgeable guide! This tour will take you along the Elk Refuge and deep into the Gros Ventre Valley to remote spots such as Gunsight Pass and Crystal Creek, with river crossings and opportunities to spot wildlife. You must be 16 years old to be a driver (with a valid driver's license) and at least 5 years old to be a passenger.
Pricing : $490 first machine (includes guide & up to 3 people). $270 for each additional machine (up to 4 people). Plus $18 per person for bag lunch from Creekside Deli. 15% auto gratuity will be included in total.

Sunday, 9/24: 10am pickup from from Hotel Terra Lobby

Teton Pines in Jackson Hole, Wyoming is regarded as one of the finest mountain golf facilities in the United States and features a spectacular, yet challenging, eighteen hole course designed by Arnold Palmer & Ed Seay.  Beautiful scenery, abundant wildlife, impeccable service and a relatively flat course will enhance the golfer’s experience. Teton Pines is regularly included in annual “best in state” ratings and is highly ranked in numerous other golf publications.  It is only 5 miles from the hotel.
