At this year’s Midterm Meeting, we’ll be gathering at the beautiful Big Cedar Lodge in the heart of the Ozarks, a destination that offers a unique mix of business and resort-style experiences. We encourage meeting attendees to bring their families and take advantage of everything the resort has to offer.

WMA has secured a limited amount of heavily-negotiated room rates exclusively for our attendees, and they are significantly lower than current public pricing. The WMA room block is only available through January 5, 2027. After this date, rooms will be subject to resort availability and prevailing rates.
We recommend registering for the event, booking your flight if you are flying, and reserving your room all at the same time. This approach is the most efficient and gives everyone the best chance of securing the room type and dates they prefer.

A non-refundable Minimum Experience Spend (MES) of $87 per room, per night will be collected at time of booking.

A $35 nightly resort fee per room will be charged, plus 8.35% tax. This fee includes access to a wide range of amenities such as pools, fitness center, hiking trails, shuttle service, Wi-Fi, mini golf, pickleball, paddle boats, and more.

This resort is designed around adventure, recreation, wellness, and relaxation. The MES is $87 per room, per night and will be a prepaid charge that should be spent onsite during your stay. The Minimum Experience Spend (MES) applies to each reservation and will help in keeping rates low for our group. Rather than paying a higher room rate, a portion of the
investment is directed toward enjoying the resort's many amenities and offerings during your stay.
Your MES may be used throughout your visit and is accumulated across all days of your stay.

Important Details:

Purchases must be charged to your room key to count toward the MES.

Spending is cumulative throughout your stay and does not need to be used in a single day

Activities booked directly with the resort count toward the requirement, including those reserved independently rather than through our private group offerings.

Any unused portion of the MES is non-refundable.
Think of this as activity credit to enjoy during your stay--whether than means a relaxing spa treatment, a round of golf, a sunset boat rental, memorable meals, or exploring everything the resort has to offer.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Reservations may be cancelled or changed up to 30 days prior to arrival. Cancellations made within 30 days of arrival will result in forfeiting one hundred percent (100%) of your deposit and the remainder of your balance. You will be charged for any missed date, no show, or early departure at the nightly rate of your original reservations. Changes may not be made to reservations within 30 days of arrival.

AIRPORT TRANSPORTATION
The easiest way to travel from Springfield-Branson National Airport (SGF) to Big Cedar Lodge is through the BCL airport shuttle, which will be coordinated by WMA. Drive time is approximately 45-60 minutes from SGF to the lodge. The cost will depend on the number of people in your group.
A rental car is not necessary, as all activities are located on property. The shuttle to and from the airport will be automatically added to your WMA invoice after you register. We will reach out closer to your arrival date to collect your flight details.

Please refrain from reserving more than two rooms in our block without first requesting an exception from WMA. As you are aware, there is a very fine line in guesstimating the number of rooms that will be needed for our group. There is typically only a 10% buffer over or under. Falling short of our block puts WMA in financial liability and needing more rooms than we have blocked means some licensees may be stuck without a room or paying a higher rate. Ultimately, we want everyone who is able and interested in attending our meeting to be able to do so and to have a room at our negotiated hotel and rate.
To deter multiple, duplicate, and “what if” bookings and so WMA can best allocate our room block allotment, WMA reserves the right to notify the licensee and move any rooms in our block to the regular rack rate IF we are short of rooms and IF there is not an associated event registration.
